Don't Get Outsmarted - Check Education Credentials

How carefully are you verifying the information on applicants’ resumüs before you hire them? Think it’s not a problem in your company? It might be. The president of prominent recruitment company A.T. Kearney Executive Search left the firm recently amid allegations that he falsified his resume to include college degrees that he had not earned. Company officials said an investigation revealed the executive had not graduated from Harvard University and Tufts University with master’s degrees, as he had claimed.

Also recently, George O’Leary recently stepped down after a short tenure as Notre Dame’s football coach after the discovery that he had lied about earning a master’s degree and playing football while in college.
