John Wright
John Wright joined the team in January 2011 as President and Managing Director. John's goal is to build on the reputation and leadership position of Canadian Management Centre through the development of new learning opportunities and progressive learning solutions for clients both in Canada and globally.
A self-described "long-term student", John believes that relevant and timely high-quality training and professional development is essential for organizations committed to boosting productivity, developing talent, and acquiring and retaining the best employees.

He brings to Canadian Management Centre more than 25 years of senior level experience in business-to-business and business -to-consumer professional services. He served as President of Wunderman Canada, and as a Senior Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee of LoyaltyOne, the creator and manager of AIR MILES® Reward Program.
His past clients range from American Express to Royal Bank Visa, Bank of Montreal to Citibank Canada, Petro Canada to Shell, Ford to Nissan, Microsoft to Rogers Communications and many others.
He earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University, Schulich School of Business, and has extensive experience as an educator and facilitator.
For four years he was Chair of the Education Committee of the Canadian Marketing Association, Canada's largest marketing association, leading the creation of Canada's first marketing industry certification programs. To date, more than 1,700 marketing professionals have completed the programs.
He was a facilitator with the Institute of Communication Agencies for seven years and currently serves as Faculty Advisor with the organization's Masters Certificate in Brand Communications.
John is an active member of the marketing and not-for-profit community. John was a member of the Board of the Canadian Marketing Association for ten years, including a term as Chair of the Board, and also a member of the Board of Special Olympics Canada for six years. Currently John is a member of the Board of the National Advertising Benevolent Society, and a Faculty Adviser to the Institute of Communication Agencies.
